The spicy side of Perfy.
Ingredients
- 1 large jalapeno
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup Granular Allulose
- ½ tablespoon Granular Monk Fruit Sweetener
- 4 oz Blood Orange Yuzu Perfy
- Juice from one medium grapefruit (about 3 oz)
- 3-4oz tequila
- Jalapeno simple syrup
Instructions
- Remove the stem from the jalapeno and cut into ⅛-inch slices (removing the seeds if you want it less spicy). Make a jalapeno simple syrup by combining the jalapeno slices, water and sweetener in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes. Strain and cool/chill the liquid.
- Wet the rims of two cocktail glasses and dip into the Monk Fruit sweetener. Fill with ice.
- Add the Blood Orange Yuzu Perfy, grapefruit juice, tequila and the chilled simple syrup into a shaker cup. Shake and then pour over the ice in two glasses and serve.
